Ehud Geller, Ph.D. - Chairman Dr. Geller is the Founding and Managing Partner of Medica Venture Partners, a dedicated healthcare venture fund that invests in healthcare startups in the United States and Israel. Prior to Medica, Dr. Geller was the President and CEO of Interpharm Laboratories. He has also been Executive VP of the Pharmaceutical Division of Teva Pharmaceutical Industries, and Senior Research Scientist and Marketing Liaison for Wyeth Laboratories. Dr. Geller holds a Ph.D. from Drexel Institute of Technology and an M.B.A. and Chemical Engineering degree from Columbia University. Jonathan Fleming Jonathan Fleming is the Managing General Partner of Oxford Bioscience Partners. Oxford has played a key role in establishing companies such as Human Genome Sciences, Genetic Therapy, Genica Pharmaceuticals, GeneLogic Inc., and Exelixis. Mr. Fleming is a co-founder of Medica Venture Partners. He is also a director of several privately held companies, including Mosaic Technologies, Cytologix Corp., and Hypnion, and Chairman of Memory Pharmaceuticals. Mr. Fleming holds a Master's degree in Public Administration from Princeton University and a B.A. from the University of California, Berkeley. Eli Hazum, Ph.D. Dr. Hazum is currently the Chief Scientific Officer of Medica Venture Partners and CEO of Ester Neurosciences Ltd. He was the Director of Research and Development at Peptor Inc., and for five years served in increasingly responsible positions at Glaxo Inc., in the United States, including department head of Receptor Research and Metabolic Diseases. Dr. Hazum has over 100 scientific publications and patents and holds a Ph.D. from the Weizmann Institute of Science, Rehovot, Israel. Yael Margolin, Ph.D. Dr. Margolin has been a Vice President at Denali Ventures LLC since 1998, where she specializes in investments in pharmaceutical developments and biotechnology. Prior to Denali, Dr. Margolin spent 10 years at Teva Pharmaceuticals, where she was responsible for new product initiatives, evaluation of investment opportunities for the R&D division, and multiple drug development programs. Dr. Margolin holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Weizmann Institute of Science and was a post-doctoral associate at the Yale University School of Medicine. Yigal Erlich, M.Sc., M.B.A. Mr. Erlich is the President and Managing Partner of The Yozma Group, Israel's first venture capital organization. Mr. Erlich is the founding father of the Israeli venture capital industry and one of the most prominent figures in the Israeli high-tech arena. Prior to Yozma, Mr. Erlich served from 1984-1992 as the Chief Scientist of Israel's Ministry of Industry and Trade. Currently, Mr. Erlich is the Chairman of the Israel Venture Association. He holds an M.Sc. and an M.B.A. from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. Yaacov Koren Mr. Koren is CEO of Comverse Investments Ltd., a wholly owned subsidiary of Comverse Technology, Inc. Mr. Koren is also manager of Comsor Venture Fund, a private equity venture fund jointly owned by Comverse and Soros Fund Management.
